So, April 26 almost snuck past me without me knowing what a great day for music fans it was. No matter your resource, get it going and pick up 3 CDs and cancel all appointments for a few days to give them your full attention. Buy, and listen to in no particular order: Bruce Springsteen's
Devils & Dust, Ben Folds'
Songs for Silverman, and John Prine's
Fair and Square. Can't these guys space it out a bit? Of all the great rockers out there, these guys really make me want to disappear into the liner notes and lyric sheets.

Hi Mike, So nice to meet you as well. Especially after my post today on my outdated taste in music. I'm writing your 3 recommendations down. I already know I like Bruce and Prine, haven't heard Ben Folds (but heard of them). My brother Dan used to keep me updated with music...sadly, he passed away. Right now I listen to Sheryl Crow, Norah Jones, Sarah Mclaughlin, Dave Matthews. I like singer-songwriters (not too loud but some loud ones are good). I know there is so much out there but don't know where to start. I'm technologically challenged so don't tell me about downloading music or about Ipods. I do know how to play a CD though. I'll come back for more music tips! (and I don't know Louden Wainright's music...I don't know what's wrong with me.)
