You beat me to it. I pass by both of the signs (you may have noticed that it is the same in both directions) on a daily basis and took some photos the other day, but have since been too lazy to upload them.
I had no idea that westbound was like that, too. I wonder how many eyes saw that from production to installation without catching that.
I share your hope that it goes unchanged. Last night, I looked at the mile marker and mistakenly thought they had fixed it (becuase of my blog?!), and found myself a bit saddened. And then I saw the flawed exit sign again and was happy.

I wouldn't have noticed it if it wasn't on the exit ramps, and I have to wonder if it was like that before they put in the new exit.
