Typos Are Fun

I saw a small card at work yesterday that was meant to accompany some complimentary items for certain guests. It was supposed to read: PASTRIES AND FRUIT FOR FLIGHT CREW.

Instead, it read: PASTIES AND FRUIT FOR FLIGHT CREW.

Either way, it's nice to get free fruit.

Where I grew up, pasties are food, but that's not as funny...

Cool, Linda I just looked it up. Northern Ireland, huh? Is that where you are from?

Pasties are also very big in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Its a Finnish/Swedish tradition that all the copper miners would carry in their pockets. This was years ago but you can still find restaurants that make them all over MI. We actually have a bakery down the street from us in Berkley, MI that sells them. My relatives in the U.P. used to make them for us whenever I would go up there as a kid...

I do believe I saw you tonight. My friend got married at a hotel in Nashville by the airport, and I do believe you told my friend and me to have a nice evening/or asked us how we were. The night is a bit fuzzy. Either way, nice to see you. lol.

Yep, it was probably me. I wish we had recognized each other enough to talk more.

And congrats to your friend on her wedding.
