Dove asked its users to create and submit an ad for its new Dove Cream Oil Body Wash.
Here's the winner.
The ad looks great. But I wonder. More and more companies have been going with user created ads recently. Is Madison Avenue getting nervous at all?

Probably not worried just yet. Because it was an ad exec's idea to use "real women." and it was more than likely an ad exec's idea to let an amateur come up with the ads.
I'm not sure if the other companies helped but I know the Chevy ad company held auditions and went through a few rounds with the student advertisers before picking one and then helping them produce it.
The day an amateur can produce a top-of-the-line ad on their own, is the day big companies freak out. And that's not going to happen for a while.
