Check this. I took Love is a Mix Tape to the tire store with me today. I have since decided to wait and read it when I have a whole weekend or something I can blow doing nothing but.
But when I opened it up and on the very first page it said "the Ides of March, 1993" that kind of freaked me out. Not just 'cos of that being today - but it's also my birthday.
I kind of took that as a sign that this is going to be a REALLY important book for me, thus the decision to wait until I can read it all in one fell swoop.
Wow, Lynnster. That's trippy. I can't wait to hear what you think of it.
Currently, I'm loving Klosterman's new book. I keep getting the urge to read faster so that I get it back to the library in time, and then I happily remember that this is the first book I've actually purchased in quite a while and I actually get to keep it.
Hey, thanks. It wasn't a very good day (other than the odd thing with the book) and I'm kinda glad it's over, but as my grandfather was fond of saying, it's better than the alternative. ;)
