The Mark of a Great Writer writer, Bill Simmons just made me forget that I don't care about basketball. I was two paragraphs into his piece on LeBron's captivating performance against the Celtics in Game 5, he had me wondering why in the world I didn't watch the most unforgettable performance in the NBA this year. I had to keep reminding myself that it's because I've never really been a fan anyway.

It's actually one of his best columns in like 4 years. He's been absolutely terrible lately, but this one and a column a few weeks back where he rips into the NBA for its decision to suspend Amare Stoudamire for leaving the bench after Steve Nash got clotheslined have kind of redeemed him for the whole Greg Oden thing.
