Selective Multi-tasking
Why is it that I can get so frustrated when my two in-house kids try to talk to me at the same time, but I can sit here in absolute peace while, at once, opera plays on the television, The Dawn and Drew Show plays on my iPod, and "Let The Good Times Roll" (Aunt B's Feel Good Friday) plays online?

Ahhhh....It's because the Kido's demand your UNDIVIDED attention and a reply. You're gonna miss these times some day.
Because you don't have to answer the other three.
My sister (who I live with) and son used to talk to me at the same time and it drove me NUTS, I felt split in two and got frustrated with them both.
Old man is right...now I sit around HOPING my son will talk to me.
