I Stand Corrected. Peter Gilstrap Knows His Stuff.

I noticed that The Tennessean had a story about Tom Waits and his upcoming Ryman appearance. I decided not to read it, assuming that it would be the usual "Tom Waits is weird" stuff that people who don't delve into his work usually say to describe him and his 20 album career.

But tonight, a blogger who saw him in Atlanta linked to the article with props to the writer. Turns out the writer knows his stuff and has considerable respect for the music. It's a good read.
