Trade ya.

Dan Patrick recently left ESPN to start his own venture. That venture is a partnership with Sports Illustrated.

Now Rick Reilly, a regular guest on Dan Patrick's old radio show, is leaving Sports Illustrated to write for ESPN.

Even steven.

Say it ain't so!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rick Reilly is the only reason I keep my SI subscription between the end of college basketball, until football starts in the fall! (And mostly it's just for NCCAA basketball)

No more 'Life of Reilly'.... I'm crushed.

The good news is that he will write bi-weekly for ESPN The Magazine and, I think, read essays on SportsCenter on a regular basis.

Steve Rushin's column is all that remains to keep me reading SI throughout the year.

Thanks for stopping by.
